GM Performance wants your input ***RPD A-pillar***

I'll be emailing this link to GM Performance within the next week.

Would you purchase the reconfigurable performance display if it was offered as an option (SS/TC)?

What would you expect to pay?

What other options would you like to see in the RPD?

What the RPD has to offer.
Air / fuel ratio
Shift light
Digital MPH
Boost
Engine Temp
Outside Temp
Current weather for the day
Tire pressure
Oil Temp
Spark advance
Knock retard
Engine HP and TQ
Cam Phaser
G – meter
Digital gear number you’re currently in.
And more
You also have the ability to change the color, appearance, order of display, shift light setting and more.

GM Performance said this option should be under $500.00 for the SS/TC LNF and would cost over $500 for the SS/SC LSJ.

Cobalt SS/TC Concept A-pillar gauge.

That's sick. I would love to have something like that. I don't like how it looks on the dash though.

I thought it looked really good inperson and seamed to be in a good spot (on the A-pillar).

haha i want one for my ms3 It was neat, but maybe they could have a auto rotator for the meters, since its real time and if you are driving crazy flipping through them may not be god. And/Or have data logging. I also think it should change color to match the car, which I think it did, there was gray, white, red, yellow, black and something else. I mentioned up to $500 I'd pay.

I think they should have a usb/firewire port on the unit that can plug into a laptop that can stream data to the laptop (using a application) OR put more memory in the unit with a usb/firewire port to download the data later. I like the real time data, but to be useful it needs to be logged.

Im sure it will be...after 09 the SS/TC is dead.

They also talked about making one for the LSJ, which would be awesome but only time will tell.
