How we operate Car Customs / AllEcotec.Com and WHY we do it this way...............
Hi Everyone,
I figured I should have made this post about 2 months ago, when we became a vendor on CobaltSS.net, but I figure its "better late than never".
We have gotten several e-mails and PM’s from customers saying, “why won’t you post prices when you run specials?”
The answer is really simplly, please bare with us as we explain.
Most of the products that we offer we deal directly with the manufactures without going through a middle man. By doing so, this gives us the opportunity to provide a much lower price and keep the products in stock so we can ship them out quicker and get them in your hands quicker. The problem with dealing with the manufacturer directly is that every manufacturer has their own rules and policies that we need to follow. If we do not follow these rules there is a good chance that our account can be suspended or our discount levels might not be as great. Most of the companies we deal directly with have MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies, which we cannot break. This is the biggest reason on why we do not advertise our low prices. We either offer a discount code, which you can use on our website to find the discounted price OR you can contact us via e-mail, PM, or phone and we can give you the discounted price on the item.
We have also gotten some e-mails and PM’s from customers saying “how come your prices seem too high?”
This is a real easy question to answer. At Car Customs / AllEcotec.com, we offer FREE S&H on EVERYTHING listed on our website within the lower 48 states! When you look at the FINAL price SHIPPED, you will notice that our prices are 5-10% lower than other companies. Also, this goes back to the statement we made above, that we cannot advertise specific products below a certain price because of MAP policies.
If anyone ever finds a price on a product for cheaper through a different company SHIPPED, please contact us. We are easy to work with! If we cannot beat that price, we will be honest with you. We don’t play any games when it comes to pricing.
