Generic TurboWax Fanboi Thread #3425

So I ordered the works from TurboWax awhile back; pre-wax cleaner, wax, swirl remover, tire gel, LVR. They sent me a few applicators and their Bug/Tar Remover, which was a nice suprise

I totally meant to take before, during and after pics, but I did my 2.4 once and was thoroughly impressed, even though my Mother's Gold coat was only a month old.

I traded for an SS/SC and got a pretty killer deal, in no small part thanks to the difference in the appearance of the cars, she was looking pretty rough. It had sat outside through the winter with nobody caring

I'd always used the Mother's Clay Bar, which worked okay, but it took work. The little black foam thingy they sent me worked wonders; all the road tar, tree sap, etc came right off.

After the pre-wax the car looked so good I was tempted to leave it. I broke down and used the wax(after rolling over it and wasting half of it, the bottle didn't break though, more quality workmanship )

Coming from using the Mother's California Gold system, I'll be sticking with TurboWax. I found it gives a slightly better job and is FAR easier to remove, thanks again guys

Sorry for the lack of quality pics, it was my first day with the car and I was in a hurry to go learn how to drive stick.

Looks awesome. I have nothing but good things to say about TurboWax. I have to do something about the swirl marks all over, so I think when it starts cooling down I'll purchase a decent buffer and the Swirl Remover.

Yeah, I'll definately be ordering from them again. I just bought some Simoniz random orbit buffer($35, lol) with it, I was surprised with the results.

I haven't tried that buffer yet. I know Juan uses the Porter Cable buffer and that's it and that's what he recommends. I need to get a new one, last one I had I dropped it....

Great job there, sexy mirror shine in the bonnet too.

If you use a soft sponge or very soft brush and agitate water and wheel brightener on the inside of the rims, they'll look just as good as the outside. If you use the sponge on the back of the spokes it'll keep your wheels cleaner even longer. Keep rinsing off the sponge well away from your bucket so you're only using clean solution. Don't forget to rinse thoroughly once completed. Have fun and keep up the good work.
