We try to support the Cobalt and Redline probably more then any other type of magazine out there. We usually have at least one in each issue. As long as we get submissions and support we will continue to support these cars and show them off in the magazine!

NightmareSS - Thanks for the referral

I took up your offer to read an issue. sorry to say I saw next to know info for the cobalt. it was all fiero or Jbody stuff. its not a terrible magazine, its just not info that I could see myself subscribing too as the Cobalt is so much different from these cars. I dont think I would get enough out of it to justify it. there was not a single cobalt or redline in the current issue. you offered us a free issue that had nothing in it really for us. that is my opinion. A all cobalt, Redline, Pontiac G4, and some SAAB info (since our cars share their technology) magazine would be great. I would buy that.

Thats just one issue. We really haven't received many cobalt submissions. In the current issue there are a bunch of Saturns in it. Each issue varies but we still have more cobalts and ions then any other magazine that I know of.

Saturns huh.... unless they are redlines they dont cut it. THE one readers ride of an SL-1 is not catching the interest of this crowd.

Why cant you feature some cobalts? there should lots out there. I see lots on CARDOMAIN. go after those people as well. just trying to help. Would love to see more in your mag.

I hope you do cover more COBALT stuff. I would need to see at least 50% coverage on COBALTS, Redline, PG4, SAAB to subscribe.

There are two featured saturn ion redlines in one in the March/April issue.

To get a percentage like that is not at all what we want. What we really are looking for is to get so much of everything that everyone will be happy. So like 2 featured cobalts or so an issue could be possible but not a percentage like you said.

Anyways thanks for your comments. If you know of anyone that is interested in submitting or such please send them our way. We will try to search more for rides. You would be suprised how many people you could contact on cardomain without any response.

To make a magazine dedicated to the Cobalt and Redline would be a waste. It is doubtful that the Cobalt and Redline will be nameplates for even 15 years. The only reason there is a mustang magazine is because it has been around since the sixties. And the only reason there are STi magazines is because it is a vehicle used very much in rally racing. I just don't see spending the time and money investing in a magazine that may very well be dead within 15 or so years.

No offense to Cobalts, I love mine and would buy another in a second (SS though), but the way GM and other companies perceive the market of today is to be everchanging. People always seem to want something fresh, which is why there are so many re-badges today. This is especially evident in the mid-size to compact segment, where the Cobalt falls into.

[QUOTE=domesticdriver]There are two featured saturn ion redlines in one in the March/April issue. [QUOTE]

Is that the next issue or the current issue?

I did not say it has to be 50% COBALT. I did say 50% on COBALT, ION Redline, Pontiac Pursuit G4, or something related from SAAB approx. 50% give or take. the rest can be what ever you want it to be. that would be fair and make me happy. I would think it would be found to be acceptable to everyone.

50% is like a # to give you an idea of how much info I would like to see in a magazine in order to subcribe to it and to be pretty consistant as well. It is not a hard and fast #. To have an issue that does not have a single bit of info on COBALT, ION Redline, Pontiac Pursuit G4, or something related from SAAB would not motivate me to subscribe and I would rather just buy from time to time issues that have something in it for me.

Now being electronic I dont think I would be able to buy just one issue and I would have to subscribe?
