I saw a PURPLE SS/SC today in Windsor.

I didn't get a chance to honk or wave as by the time I realized what it was it was too late.

It looked really sweet

Anyone here?

 

What shade of purple? If it's the amethyst or whatever, I saw someone put an SS/SC wing on their purple Cobalt (non-SS/SC). Might have been a fake that you saw. Or might have been a custom paint job.

 

yea, if it was the amethyst purple then it was probably a 2.4 with the wing and possibly other ss/sc parts.

 

I think you and Alleycat are right. It probably was a 2.4 with the 2.0 body kit and wing. It looked nice!

purple is cool i have an SS 2.4 but i am in dallas tx I have everyhting besides the spoiler... show me what you got

 

damn I love those rims. Too bad they did not make to production

 

at the track the where two Laser blue SS/SC when I was there. and beleive me they looked purple the entire day at almost every angle. the only time I say that beatiful blue that only seems to come out in pictures is when you walk up to it and look straight at it.

in the sunlight the differance between the laser blue and Arrival blue is huge.

 

^^ When I was buying mine, they had the new blue that replaced the arrival blue. It definetly looks purplish... GF said she wouldnt ride in it if I got it. HAHA

 

ya....i'm definately not a fan of the laser blue, i think it reuins the car IMO

You saw laser blue. I have yet to see it look blue in person. I have seen it in sun, shade,sunset, sunrise. That color should be called Laser Purple.

 

Nothing beats a freshly washed Laser Blue Cobalt in the sunlight. The way the purple comes out with the blue metallic is just amazing.

hey NGalaxyTimmyo's SIG has the best comparo I've seen yet of the 2 colours.
don't get me wrong I like the colour, but if you look at that pic and still say it's blue after looking at the arrivel blue on either side, then you need your Eyes checked.
over 90 percent of the time and ways you look at it it looks purple.

 

i think the laser blue does more justice in the picture then in person

 

laser blue looks purple compared too arrival blue but it is blue.
but i could see someone calling it purple kinda girly IMO.

 

i just picked up my laser blue ss sc.....in the showroom it looked nice and blue...and at night it looks nice and blue....but in the day the metallic in the paint makes it appear purple....man i shuda got red

 

don't worry you'll grow to love it, it's still a nice colour.
think of it like this, people pay good money to get there car to change clour like the laser blue does.

 

Yeah laser blue looks purple sometimes. Personally, I like it.
