MAF block-off plates

I just received the block off plates for the MAF flange. They are cnc machined from billet aluminum and an absolutely perfect fit to the factory MAF flange. These will be used to relocate the MAF to the boost tubing in order to run an atmospheric BOV, correctly. It will be part of MAF relocation kit and sold separately. Individual price is $30.00. I'll try to get pictures up this week.

Thanks all.

We had the plates made to include with our MAF relocation kits primarily. They are available separately if anyone wants one. "VTA BOV's"?????

I never thought about that as an application as we were concerned with allowing the atmospheric BOV's to function properly, but YES, this would allow any intake to work. Even if there is a leak at the breather fitting it would not matter. The air isn't going to be read until just before the throtte body. On our test car, the owner ran with the MAF flange open for the weekend. No codes, no issues. But obviously you wouldn't want to run your daily driven car with an open hole after the filter. Hence the MAF block-off plates.

NOTE: in order to relocate the MAF to the boost tubing, the program needs to be re-mapped for the smaller tubing. Vince of TriFecta has done this successfully.

"Vent To Atmosphere."

Thanks.

I am not a dealer for any BOV's. There are too many to stock. Of the three types/brands members have shipped to us, I like the TIAL the best. It appears to be the highest quality and best looking of the HKS and Greddy.

Anyways, you pick your brand , send me the flange and we'll weld it on. That is what we have done for these first 5 members. The only part i am waiting for are the 24" MAF extension wires. This will be plug and play, no cutting/splicing required.

We can definitely do the full kit for you guys but send me the flange. Must be steel.

Thanks all.

the tial is superior to all other bov's. it has a 60% flow rate over others. the hks would be a second favorite. the only downfall to the tial is the price....being the most expensive. also with a tial you have to get the correct spring to operate with your tune.....to small of a spring will make it open to early and big of a spring will not allow to open when its suppose to. they used my tial q on the test car.

as far as a tune goes. dan/vince will sell the tune that re-calibrates the maf to work with the smaller diameter tubing. thats your best bet and also considering trifecta has the fuel tables and fan control unlocked i think that is your best bet as far as a tune goes aswell.
