Just wondering if any of you chicagoan ss/sc folks, that did stage 2, which dealer did it for you and have they done it before. My dealer i dont trust cause they say they havent done it on our cars yet. And i didnt like the answers they gave me, so id rather get it done at a dealer that has done it before.

 

i had just had mine installed at sharp chevy skokie, il. im the first one but they did a good job. car runs awesome.

I'll talked with the folks at Lattof Chvey, the crate engine folks, and this is where I will get mine done. Just waiting for parts. It will be hard to find a dealer who has done the install.

 

There are more than a few SS/SCs around here but I'm pretty sure not many of them have gotten stage two installed. If your car is still warrantied and they botch it up somehow, they'll have to get it fixed! Stage two is under warranty too, ya know.

 

yea i know but i would like the install done right the first time know what i mean? And what is this crate engine folks? What they have a crate engine setup?

 

I ran across these guys by accident. I thought I was talking with a regular dealership, but it turned out to be crate engine depot. They are also a dealership.

I asked the same question you did because I want it done right as well. But Tom (their parts guy) mentioned their job is performance vehicles. Our Upgrades might be easy for them. I'll let you know how it works out. They just need to get the parts in.
