This is new, need some serious help

Ok before i had the clutch installed by the dealer, i was feeling some serious power from the injectors and pulley, and my fuel eco was like 18 19 mpg. Now after clutch install, same parts are still there injectors and 2.8 pulley. but the car feels stock, and my fuel eco sky rocketed. i drove an hour today and it hit 28 mpg, 28 mpg ok when ur stock, not with 42 lb injectors. So i need some help to figure out what they did. I dont know if they tryed to mess with the pcm cause my rev limetr is still set at 7 grand and the car is running fine. Could it be that the clutch just isnt broken in yet and it robbing me of hp untill its broken in. What else could they have done. Im at a loss for words after everything ive been through so far.

hmm...idk, I have 42 lb injectors with a 2.8 pulley and exhaust and my gas gauge tells me 35-38 mpg. But then again, I do about 85% highway driving. Maybe you haven't been beating on your car lately as much as you were before, or maybe you reset the gas gauge.

I can't explain the power loss though...That's strange. Unless the clutch doesn't fully disengage, now that would be a problem.

Maybe they replaced your injectors with the stock ones

well... heres a few theories....

either the clutch you've got on there is WAY heavier than the stock one and it's robbing power... which is hard to fully believe...orr...

you've been driving like an old lady to break in the clutch and the car has been relearning it self and has, therefore gotten "used" to lower loads and easier driving.

try this. getting onto a highway, drop it in 2nd and do a nice WOT pull to highway speeds.... get off and do it again. it will prolly give you a small amout of your power back... and just drive with a lot of throttle action.

also, you could just pull the battery, let the ECM go back to baseline tuning and take her for a ride.

this is all assuming that the car is otherwise running fine and there isn't someting "wrong" that was damaged at the tranny shop.
