More wheel decisions...(couple pics)

I decided to go w/ the Falken Hanabi's.

I'm plannin on the 17x7.5 w/ the 42mm offset. They weigh 16.94lbs. But they also have a 17x9 w/20mm offset. Or .866" closer to the strut. They have no weight posted, so I guess low 20's. The reason I am considering the 9" wide wheels is because I want some wide tires, 245/40R17's. On the 7.5's, they will fit, but I am sure there will be some rollover. If I do the 9.0's, I could fit all the way up to about a 265 or so(I plan to eventually minitub the front and rear for a wider footprint). Or I could stagger now with the 9's in rear, and 7.5's front, and then later when funds are better to cut away the inner fenders, and replace suspension, I could just buy two rims instead of all 4 9"ers.

Also, they only offer the wheels in bronze or silver. I love the bronze look, but think they might clash with my paint. Sunburst Orange Metallic. Photoshop pleeeezzzze

2 questions

1. Will 17x9's fit on the front or rear with that offset?
2. Bronze or silver?

Thanks,
Ryan

Ummm...Bump...

Do you guys hate these wheels or what? Just a few opinions on color please.

I'm getting them cuz they're the lightest for my budget. I thought they were real nice, especially since you don't see that style anywhere.

I generally hate wheels that are this style (aka Integra wheels) but I've seen these on an Ion in 17" and they actually look nice.

no to a 9" wide wheel...you don't have the power to move a wheel that wide anyway.

go 17x7.5 in a silver wheel

Yes power isn't there right now. (Hopefully at 170crankhp) XTC Downpipe in the mail as we speak!! But I was gonna supercharge in the next 6 months or so. And in maybe 2 or 3 years, pull the engine apart and go for all forged internals, and major head work.

Kinda hoping tuning will be out within 6 months too. Pleeeeeaze HP Tuners Pleeeeeeaze

PS: I'm kinda smiley happy right now... ...If you can't tell.

I'm not a huge fan of those rims, but definitely go with the silver.
