MXO merchandised trans
Just got the SS sedan saturday, the certifiable mechanic told me the trans is a 4T40E. I thought the 4T45E was to be installed behind 2.4's? Hope its the 45, like to add some mods in the future and the 45 has a good rep!

OK! 17 views and no knows - interesting. Guess I'll have use some of my inside resources at G.M.
I work at a G.M. Metal Fabrication Division and we also have a Powertrain Division on the same grounds. Problem is that the employees have access to less info than the general public - go figure!
