Talking turbo suggestions?

I'm looking into putting a turbo on my 05 cobalt 2.2, i want to start with the internals. i want to swap crank and rods first. then clutch, turbo, fuel system(in not included in kit) like injectors and pump if needed. I've been looking around and cant find a decent turbo kit. any one know of a known good kit?
also i want a performance clutch but all i could find is one for the ss. is it the same set up and fit into the 2.2l?
if anyone knows where to start pricing stuff out please let me know

theres no need to replace the crank, its more than enough for your power levels

pistons and rods are what you truly need...

there is no decent turbo kit available in my opinion...Alpine is an option but only if you have the ability to fine tune yourself. haven't heard of anyone yet that has been able to run their base tune with no problems.

You need to read the build book. I'm guessing you haven't yet.

You have no tuning solution as of yet so until then you can't do much but exhaust and intake.

you are right, i just read the book and it explained everything on the basis of parts. the question i have is, what kind of news about the different turbo kits are out there?

i would like to build my own but i dont know about the programing. every one is saying the there is nothing yet and i dont want a piggyback system.

so would i have to send the ECU out to be reprogrammed?
or can i use a stand alone system? but is that just for fuel or fuel and ignition

Unfortuneately what they're saying is right -- no tuning available and you'll have to go to a piggyback system. Not even HPTuners can reprogram the ECU at this time so there is noone to send it to. It doesn't just deal with fuel and ignition -- like the ECU senses and adjusts for air intake flow Vs throttle position if it is outside the GM set parameters your engine goes into limp mode. Because of this you have to use a piggyback system to fool the ECU. I have yet to hear of anyone that is 100% with a turbo yet, even though there are a few owners that have them installed.
