It doesn't matter if the rear springs are "binding" as some of you call it.
They have what is called "dead" or "inactive" coils. They are the coils that look normal off of the car, but when installed, they are sitting on-top of each-other, (As seen in a picture on the 1st page). You actually need the "dead" or "inactive" coils in some cars, because when you increase the spring rate in a lowering spring it's obviously going to be shorter than stock spring rate. If you had a low spring rate but not enough coils to fill up space, you'd have a loose spring sitting there, which would be dangerous as all hell.
In short: The "binding" coils as you guys call it, (incorrect name), are not doing any harm what so ever, they are essentially filling space, that is all. Notice the active coils below them.
Thanks.

This took 10 seconds to Google. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/susp...-coils-272919/
Consensus is the dead coils go to the top.
How hard was that?

Again, Punctuation would help. We can't read your mind.
