Chasing Knock WTF

I am getting an HP Tune and between 5K to Redline I am getting crazy knock retard (5 -9.4) all the way through that range. I think it's false knock. I got under the car and the IC Pump mount was missing a bolt so replaced that, then I saw an blot for the Intake Manifold that had backed almost all the way out so i tightend it up and all the other Intake manifold bolts to make sure. Also changed the spark plugs to NGK BKR7EIX. WTF Could it be. I am stumped.

Engine sounds good. No sounds of knock at all. Check with a stetoscope.
Thinking about replaceing the knock sensor but I am not getting a code for it.

It's a 07 SS/SC 2.8, 60#, ZZP Stg 3 HE, Dual pass, opt b, ZZP Phenolic spacer, Bad Mab Header, ZZP 3"down pipe.

Any Thoughts.

If you pull a bunch of timing does it persist? Might be worth running 110 if it's available to see if it goes away too.

Yes timing has been pulled to 20 and there is another tune waiting I hear that pulled out another 5 just to see if it does go away. I live in canada and really only have 91 oct available.

Some people aren't able to run more than 15-16*.. so i'd keep turning timing down and see if you can get rid of it

Mike you are getting up to 15* of knock inbetween normal shifts. Either the sensor is shot or your motor is

I was getting knock last week and was like wtf! First thing I did was look for metal on metal contact or anything loose in the engine bay. The hose clamp on my intake was rubbing against the option b post by the strut tower, adjusted everything and now its gone. I know I'm turbo now but throwing my situation out there might help.

Ive been logging him and he's been getting remote tuned by James. Know how sometimes when normal everyday shifting you get a bit of false knock inbetween gears? His car is spiking anywhere between 7-15* of knock when shifting.

Very. And WOT from 5500 to redline the car knocks non stop no matter how much timing you pull out of it. James went from 19* to 15* and he still had the same amount of knock. That's why I say it's the sensor. Or something is knocking internally. But you think you would hear that. The motor sounds fine.
