08 cobalt ss vs 08 caliber srt4?
well he probably has the mopar BOV plate, to make it sound like an aftermarket valve. If he has an aftermarket BOV, I would check a little closer cause I would bank on his not being stock
Stock for stock, the cobalt is slightly faster but it will be a drivers race
ss/tc.... drivers race tho... but if u put 2 highly skilled drivers in each car the T/C would win... caliber weighs alot but they come with like a stage 2 turbo all ready so they still have some getty up
O really?

On the dyno the Caliber proved it's got the power. We measured 281 hp and 261 lb-ft of torque — numbers that pretty much establish it as underrated from the factory.

Mustang GT vs CSRT4
Standing ź mile………………13.8 sec @ 102 mph
110mph………………16.5 sec
120mph………………20.1 sec
130mph………………26.1 sec
Street start 5-60………5.9 sec
On a SRT-4 Caliber they tested, it preformed the following.
Standing ź mile………………14.4 sec @ 103 mph
110mph………………16.8 sec
120mph………………20.0 sec
130mph………………26.2 sec
Street start 5-60………6.7 sec
CSRT4 trapped higher than the GT. Roll race, you will lose. From a dig, it will be close. Most run low 14's stock. One guy is running ~300 Hp to the wheels from an exhaust and drop in filter only.
Its got a big turbo, bigger than the SS/TC. You better be careful.

I test drove a caliber srt 4 and a TC. I now own the cobalt TC. So you know which I liked better. The calibers storage area was surprisingly small for a hatch. It also had TERRIBLE torque steer. Also the financing for the srt was terrible around 8-9%
yeah, i wanted one for a while, then i sat in one at the dealership while my friend bought a Hemi Magnum. it wasnt as great as i thought. also my friends Magnum is 3 months old, has 2200 miles and has been in the shop 5 times. screw Dodge they make **** cars.
Nope - "2008 SS" is enough to know it is an LNF. There are no SS Cobalts that are 2.4 anymore. They have been renamed. That was my point, ........... The OP was clear enough, IMHO.
