09 Cobalt SS Tc Strut bar

I have seen many versions of the engine strut bar for older model cobalts, but i have not seen any made for the 08-10 cobalt SS Tc. does anyone know if anyone makes them. This is probabely due to the fact that the air intake is in the way of where the strut bar would be. you cant run a bar straight across from strut to strut. I have a Aem cold air intake and it sticks up even higher than the stock air intake. I want to get a nice polished one but i am affraid i might have to have one made custom

The firewall acts as a strut bar, no need for any additional reinforcement in the front, unless for show/looks

I had crazy steve fab one up, but it was never finalized, and it's apparently not needed on cobalts.

It doesn't. We have piping in the way of it.

When mine was test fitted it had to step around the piping, which caused it to be even closer to the firewall and it just seems like it doesn't add much stiffness.

I always figured the charge pipe would be in the way so I never looked into getting one

thanks for the input guys much appreciated.... if there isn't any difference with one then there is no reason to get one. not to mention the charge pipe is in the way so it wouldn't fit anyway..
