2 problems help with either plz

First problem, breaks squeak when i lightly push them like gently coming to a stop, if i push the moderate-hard doesn't squeak. Is the the beginning stages of the premature rear pad wear?
Second problem when i shift from first to second feels like the the so much slop in the gears. Very rarely it doesn't do it but almost every 1st-2nd doesn't matter about rpm fast or slower rpm. If i have windows down when i shift from 1st-2nd with the clutch to the floor in makes a clunk type of noise and same type of noise after the gear change is made and just about done letting clutch out. I don't really notice it in other gears but i has done in it in others before. Any ideas, its kinda hard to explain but its defiantly not normal. Anybody have similar issues with either problem? Any input i appreciate thanks.

The brake noise is normal. High performance pads will squeak when cold or applied lightly. Still check the rear rotors since this car will groove them quickly.

Let the dealer look at the other problem. Its under warranty do use it.

I can fix the brake squel problem......do this
go find a backroad somewhere.........drive up to 90 km/h......55 mph
and apply the brakes soft to firm in a motion wherei ts soft to start to fairly firm and slow down to about 5 or 10 mph.
do this 10 times and then do a hard stop again start slowly and this time very firm at the end when you STOP.
this is 11 brakings.........repeat all those steps again....this is breaking in your brakes.

this is good and after it works, use your brakes like you mean it dont ride them like a sally and you will be good to go

second problem, is the clutch...not a problem its loud as fck

mine does this and same as my buddy Ryans

What do you mean its the clutch? Ive been reading about bleeding the clutch. Anything you can do to get rid of it and it doesn't seem normal and if it was i figure more people would chime in about it lol

Clunk is normal. Your rear brakes are getting munched on, but that's apparently normal for these cars, as well. There's no fix for it, so plan on replacing rear pads, rotors, and possibly calipers at 10K miles.

Ya what he said...when we're driving side-by-side you can hear both of us switching gears and the "clunk" is there through 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd .

um, the transmission noise is "normal" mine does it some times. Its because of the shitty cables they use to shift.

Plus bro, your transmission is not even broken in all the way IMO.

Honestly, I don't know how much experience you have with manual transmissions, but I often hear the exact sound you are describing when I perform a lazy/sloppy shift

It happens a lot more at lower rpms, because you have to let the clutch out slower. Its a lot easier to just slam through the gears at redline because you can basically let the clutch drop out each time... when going slower, you must control the clutch

Our 1st gear is sooooo small and tight that if you take 1st gear up to 3k RPMs, you better get the gas/clutch combo just right, or your going to bog/clunk going into 2nd.

The reason you don't hear this going into other gears is because there is more "give" because the gears are a bit taller.

Try this- When going into 2nd gear, give it a lil more gas than you have been while letting out the clutch.

Our clutchs have very tricky engagement points, almost immediately.

I wouldn't worry about it, just practice your shifting.

I have 15,000 on mine, and sometimes it does it still.
