I'm not starting a new thread here because this was mentioned a couple pages back - hopefullt this tangent is cool...

My car has rpo ZAH which is the spare tire.

When I was first looking into these cars (very early last year) the dealer told me that the inflator kit was standard fare, and iirc on the GM site, when you "built" a car the spare tire was a cost option (which confirmed what the dealer told me)...

Does anyone know if there was a bulletin issued stating that the spare tire replaced the inflator kit as standard equipment?

I have my window sticker, and the spare tire isn't a listed option.
- I was actualy kinda stoked before picking up the car when I lifted the cover to see a spare in place of the (imho pos) inflator kit...
(I mean if you hit a curb or blow a tire wtf is an inflator kit going to do for you??)

Any insight would be appreciated.

i have it too thats why mine was like 6000 $ cheaper its basically some chips and lil fucked up things with the paint i got most of mine out but the chips are a pain in the ass

Your a coupe so there is no real way of knowing how many are exactly like yours ...... your 1 of 929 black coupes ..... the rest is kind of a guessing game . The sedan guys put up 1 of XX because they didn't make very many at all..... some colors only had double digits 40 -50 made. I have an 09 Black SS/TC as well with those options + XM except I have the short spoiler. I would love to know what the numbers are based on options. Hopefully something will come out soon like the Marti Report for the classic Mustangs and Cougars as that tells you numbers based on options and the guy that runs the registry also makes note of how many are estimated to be left on the road. We need someone with lots of time on their hands to start one!

 

yeah, someone with time on their hands is key;

when ever breakdowns like that are done, someone has to manually tabulate the numbers...

 

I know of 2 totaled Rally Yellow ones in Ohio to subtract from the list. I bought the front suspension off of one of them

 

ok, either GM has really screwed up, or GMtunersource jumped the gun before 2009 numbers were compiled...
