2010 ss tc

Hey, new to the forum... I've had my Cobalt SS 2010 since april 2013... since then i've placed a cold air intake, and removed Cat/resonator .... the car is pretty decent i love it... However i want to keep modding it... I keep seeing the LSJ/LNF thing... for one I have no idea what i have... is mine a LSJ or LNF... i've read that lsj is best for 600+whp and lnf is for 550 and less... but like i said idk what i have.. i'd like to know cause i want to buy a ZZP stage 2 or 3 kit and i cant do this without knowing what i got... I also want to get a short shifter but not sure which is best... anyway if i can get some help i would appreciate it. Thank you guys!

Welcome
You have an lnf
You need a tune and a couple more boltons
Look up trifecta versus hp tuning and decide what is for you both are a good hp increase alone but add an intercooler and upper pipe for durability and your good.
Zzp doesnt have stage kits for the lnf I think treadstone might still but you dont need it your just a few parts away from having a quick reliable daily driver.

Lion if you do what lnftx suggested you probably won't want a lot more. Anything close to your 550hp thoughts will only net you lack of traction.

Only issue the lnf really has with getting higher hp is fueling. No one makes a bigger high pressure fuel pump for it. But Ya 550whp and ull need to do some piston and rod upgrades. 500 or less and I'd be good in stock internals. Lsj would need built motor for 600+ idk exactly how much it can take stock
