Out of curiosity, has any of the tuners on here (figured it's a good place to ask since you're in the thread) pulled a GMS1 tune from a 2010 and compared it to the 2008/2009?

well when every dealership has a big sign out front saying all warranties will be honored regardless of mods.. Then let me know because most dealers in alot of peoples experience wont honor the warranty with even an intake so where does that leave the owner? Paying more in the end for the cheaper superior aftermarket tune and the replacement of what broke as opposed to what i paid for my gms1. Its not a competition to see what tune is better.. Its the opinion of a new owner who just upgraded from a slower car. im still considered incredibly fast to most drivers out there with slower cars... Stop trying to bash someones opinion.. We all know aftermarket tunes are faster but it doesnt take away from the fact that the gms1 is still impressive to alot of people. Its like a lingenfelter twin turbo corvette owner saying the Z06 isnt impressive.

agreed i have my gm stage 1 and love it idc if its slower then an aftermarket tune in the end someone still has there warrenty and the other doesnt

310-315whp and ~250wtq. After that fight with Blueberry over the Tq I looked at the other graphs and this car holds at least if not more Tq then anyone on the list. And def more WHP at redline to match!

I put my stock DP on (20 mins) and stock intake and CP. Everything take about an hr. Then flash to stock and off to the dealer. Ill be getting my syncro replaced under warranty still.
And I still have my warranty too. Congrats..

It's entirely an opinion based argument. Being a DD I have absolutely no need right now for 350 some whp to get to work and back, hell I didn't even need the stock 260/260 bhp. I went with the GMS1 hoping the tune itself would resolve some of the gripes I had about the stock tune which it did so I'm more than happy with the purchase.
If you want the whp/wtq numbers then I'm pretty sure 99.9% of the people on here know what the LNF is capable of with tuning alone (my friend's is HP Tuned so I'm not in the dark). Personally the GMS1 today is more than enough regardless of what I spent

i was asking because he said he was on meth injection. i was curious as to how bad the power dipped off when on and off meth. i know ive see curves off of meth with tuned tc's making just over 200 wtrq. so it seems like meth helped. thats all. you need to grow up and stop making it personal. i said nothing about my damn wrx so shut up about it. talk about my r6 why dont you? its faster than anything on this site.
I have never tried to make my car sound better than anything on here. i ask questions and if i disagree with someone then they start attacking that i have a wrx and about how high it traps and blah blah. its the same process as when massive fights break out between ss/sc's and ss/tc's. you all attack eachother if anyone disagrees. i asked a simple question. you somehow turned that into me talking about how my car is better. you just made yourself look like an ass. this is why the cobalt community has a bad name.
theres maybe 15 cool guys on here that like all cars and know about all cars. the rest are all cobalt nuthuggers that have something to prove to everyone.

i am really not trying to be a ass. I just do not understand how spending 600 dollars on a tune is a smart decision, when the same tune (even a better tune) is 200-400 dollars.

maybe we are in a recession bc of all the warranty work thats being done for people that are lying and in reality voided their warranty with a tune that produced more power than the car could handle and it therefore broke.
im not trying to be an ass either. but what youre doing IS illegal. point blank. you gotta pay to play as they say.

I agree 100% with you that the ratio of knowledgeable to illiterate and/or fanbois here is alarming. Also, I guess that you can tell that English is not my first language, so I sometimes don't communicate my state of mind all that well...

You do know they account for the average cost of warranty over 5 years? why do you think you pay so much for purchasing a new vehicle?
