You use your foot. They dont have a MBC or electronic boost control.

the wastegate doesn't have an adustment on these and it is controlled by electronics so i do believe the computer would adjust.

The trick works on the Solstice and Sky Guys, same motors, the wastegate rod is adjustible, by shortening it you pick up around 2 pounds of boost across the whole band, regarldess of ECU or not, its a hardware fix not software

i didnt know the cobalt ss or sc had a wastegate or a wastegate rod for that matter. isnt that only supposed to be on the turbo balts comming out? he didnt specify in his first post if he was turbo or not.

All i got to say is if you mess with the wastegate rod we(as in the dealer) can tell, there are markings made from the factory, an adjustment what so ever is not considered warranty and if you **** your turbo up = no warranty, it is best not to mess with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep went to solstice forums and the people that did that had all kinds of problems check engine lights and after a short period of time the boost increase went back down anyway the ecu readjusted itself and some cars ran like crap within a week. I'll stick to factory settings.

No i don't steal and my dealership is pretty laid back when it comes to warranty but if a turbo goes, they will send an engineer and a district rep i am not willing to lose my job because you fucked with your turbo, just not worth it in my opinion.

LOL! Chips & dip. Never heard of that one before.

But, with the new SS/TC you can't just swap turbos, or put too much on it, because it either won't run, or still just limit your boost.

SRT-4's are one of the ultimate tuner cars (IMO)... 2.4 turboed
