Aeroforce Interceptor gauges
Aeroforce Interceptor gauges
I can now verify these WORK with the 2008 SS/TC. I'm going to make a list of the sensors that work and the ones that don't in the next couple of days.
WB02, oil temperature, IAT and IAT2 work off the top of my head.

Sensors that work:
IAT1
IAT2
Ambient
Coolant
Catalytic Converter Temp
RPM
Boost
MAP KPA
MAF lb/m
MPH
Throttle Percent
Ignition Advance
Short Trm B1
Long Trm B1
Engine Load
Rail Pressure (BTW its around 550psi at idle FYI)
HP
Run Time
Barometric Pressure
Battery Voltage
Lambda
A/F ratio (YES it is a wideband)
MAF Frequency 1
Fuel
O2 B1S2
Oil Temp
instant MPG\MPG average
Misfires
Resetting the long term fuel works from the menu.
Resetting and reading CEL works
Fan controls (high and low) works
performance gauge works (measures 0-60, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile times and MPHs)
Probably work but don't know how to test:
o2 current
ABS Throttle Pos
Knock 1
Does not work:
Fuel trim cell
A/F cmd
OIL PRESSURE (Damnit GM (and others), why cant you spend the extra few dollars on a simple sensor?)
Trans temp and basically all the sensors related to an automatic transmission (obviously). Maybe this works when the cobalt comes out with the auto.

CN series (CAN) for General Motors.. There is a post I started on the Aeroforce Forum about this. This is just for the 2008 though, the 07 I think uses a different gauge.
Purchased it direct from Aeroforce www.aeroforcetech.com - They are actually an official sponsor of my car now. I am the very first person to install these gauges in a 2008 Cobalt SS!

All you have to do is connect them to the OBD2 port.. No need for any external power!
Unless you are also connecting an analogue input, it is as easy as it could possilby be to connect these gages.
Since each gage can support up to 2 analog inputs, you could connect 4 more sensors to the 2 gage set.

I really just wanted an A/F gauge but if I can get all of that off the OBD2 port I will use this instead. Can you run three of the off of the OBD2 port? Thanks for the info!
EDIT: I just re-read the website and I see that a triple set can be special ordered. I will contact them and get some info about it.
EDIT 2: I found something on the forum about the triple gauges here, http://aeroforcetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5

super noob question. From everything i've gathered there is no reason that these gauges should void your warranty, but i just gotta ask: will this void my factory warranty? thanks
I have a question related to mounting rather than the gauges themselves. Your a-pillar with the tri-mount is in black. Does it come in a color and texture that matches the cream or beige color the stock pillar has?
Its hard to tell from the picture, but the texture almost matches perfectly. I got a great deal on the black pillar, so I didn't bother looking for a cream colored one I supposed you could always paint it to match, but no one that has ridden in my car has notied its black instead of another color.
i currently am the first cobalt with the triple setup lol. ordered it months ago but no one was intrested in pics or anything when i tried to make a thread on it. anyways yes they are the cn gauge. also not that with the triple they react a little slower since now you have 3 gauges fighting for bus time instead of 2. its not horribly slow or anything just a tad bit slower most wouldnt even notice. i ran the single on the bottom and the dual in the upper 2.
It is a mutigauge that lets you see most of the parameters of the engine with out the need for lots of gauges. It plugs into the OBDII port under your dash and gets all the info from the ECM just like a dealer scan tool would.
