All lights on with brights
All lights on with brights
I was wondering if anyone could tell me, from experience, how to make my driving and fog lights stay on with my brights? I want to be able to push the stalk forward and have it look like it is when you hold the stalk back.
It actually is possible.
You will need to use a setup of relays to accomplish the task.
That being said, having your fog lights remain on with the high beams is illegal per the vehicle codes of most states. In addition, the OEM wiring doesn't like the additional heat from running all the lamps at once. This setup is better suited for those of us who use HID in projector housings.

Anyways, to the OP. You can easily do it with relays, but if you're on the OEM bulbs (Halogen), I don't reccommend doing it since it generates a large amount of heat. The Projector housing with low beam HID suits this setup perfectly and safely (And throws an insane amount of light down the road to boot).
As stated its illegal to run high beams and fog lights at the same time. It can be done with a relay kit though. Buy a 4 lamp headlight kit designed for Chevy trucks, you can make it work.
just buy a relay kit. its very easy.
To those who say you cant.
Are you just talking to get posts up or something or actually think you know what your talking about?
whatttttttt????
if done proporly theres no risk.
some people do it to save there HIDs from damage.
Mine happen to stay on when I flash my brights.

you only need to run 1 relay but 2 would probly work better ... but honestly a relay is one of the easist things to wire up once you know how and would take all of 15 minutes to do because i did this on the old car and i never had a problem with the cops and i drove by a few with my brights and fogs on in the hamptons
