They've been for sale since before the SSTC was even out I think. If mine becomes worthy of one one day then I might just do it.

okay, my question is..

Is this going to be like the supercharger kits;
being able to buy Stage 1, and then upgrading to Stage 2?

ie: get the stage one at the end of this month, then stage 2 when it releases in 3 months?

Yes, however Stage 2 will simply be an intake kit. The flash and new sensors will come with Stage 1.

Glad I didn't wait around for it, but I certainly didn't expect it to produce numbers THAT low.

Are there any tunes that run it up to 7000 while being at a safe A/F ratio?

Why does everyone want the rev limiter so high? I thought our cars dropped off up high? I understand if you shift at a higher RPM then youll still be in the powerband in the next gear...but is 7000 really necessary? I mean if you shift at 6250 or 6500 it should only bring you down to what, 4000 or 4500? Thats still a good powerband spot isnt it? Im just wondering, because 7000 is pretty quick to be spinning these engines isnt it?

The SS/SC LSJ runs up to 6750 and 7000 stock internals no problem with the correct tune injectors and pulley. With valve springs one can go up to 8000.....but ya with this turbo it may not be feasable....

Does anyone know if this kit is still for sale? If so, where can it be purchased and what is the part #?

I searched GMS1, GMPP Stage 1, etc...and could not find any part number threads.

Thanks ahead of time for any responses.

CED may still sell it.

however, just buy the LNF 3 bar map sensors from ZZP and get a custom tune.

Aren't the stock MAP and TIP sensors 2.5 bar? If so, you won't need a 3 bar set if you're not going above 22 psi (accounting for atmosphere). The consensus seems to be the stock LNF is good up to 22 psi before the risk to piston land damage is greater. I know people are running 25 psi or higher, but I'm keeping mine at 20-22 psi. Had I known more about this, I wouldn't have bought the 3 bar MAP sensors and just went with my HPTuners setup.

The consensus is actually 24 and the GM sensors are a nice upgrade and safer.

You may be within published limits, but personally I don't like flirting with the edge. Also the closer you get to the limit the more inaccurate it would be. $100 really isn't much considering.

Where do they base 24?

If it is 24 psi, then there's almost no reason to buy the 3 bar MAPs unless you are planning to run 24 psi or higher boost. I just got done tuning my EcoBoost 3.5L V6 and the stock 2 bar MAP stops reading over 15.5 psi, however it will safely read up to that level. It doesn't magically explode at that level, it just peaks at 15.5 psi

Just my 2 cents. If I had to do it again, I'd stick with the factory MAPs because the manifold sensor actually fits properly. The 3 bar MAP wasn't designed for that manifold mount and sits a bit canted. I ended up modifying it slightly by tweaking the bolt hole.

On my EcoBoost 3.5L V6, I bought the 3 bar MAP because it was only $40 and it was actually just the factory stock Throttle Inlet Pressure (TIP) sensor used on the Taurus, so the SHO now runs two of the same 3-bar MAP sensors (instead of a 3 bar TIP and a 2 bar MAP). The TIP is the equivalent to the MAP sensor mounted on the charge pipe just upstream of the TB on the LNF.
