any word on a GM stage 2 LNF Turbo upgrade!!

ahhhhhh.......i was just out driving my 2008 Cobalt SS Turbo on a gorgeous cool August ontario night! **** i love my Cobalt SS Turbo with its Stage 1 LNF Turbo upgrade. for anyone out there who dosent have this stage kit installed on their Cobalt SS Turbo your truly missing out.........You have to get the upgrade, its like waking up your Cobalt SS Turbos sleeping power.

Sooooooo then i got to thinking?????????

I wonder if the GM Performance Division is coming out with a Stage 2 LNF Turbo upgrade. I know a few people are saying that they dont think that GM will bring one out due to the fact that more power will be getting to close to the LNF's pinnacle.........and the end of your warranty since it would be a little too risky for GM to make a stage 2 kit with a warranty attached that would break!

Me.......I dont agree......I think that GM will make another kit for the Cobalt SS Turbo......yup i truly do.

So?????? Has anyone out there seriously heard of an upcoming Stage 2 LNF Turbo upgrade???? ill be the first to buy one when they do

I heard Stage 2 is coming out next month. It is a GMPP intake, cams, nitrous, downpipe, and meth injection..............ALL UNDER WARRANTY. Stage 3 is coming out in December. It is a V-8.

There's not a whole lot more they could do. Any more power, and the clutch would start going on cars. People would probably be tearing gears up more often.

I suggest the *Stage2* should be the OTTP rotated trans mount...it's available and I just installed it. See my post under *drive train* forum. You need to be able to put the power down with a tune and this mod will do that. So, before considering more power...look to this mod first. It's cheap and effective.

yes if you think GMS1 is great a real tune will make you go OMG, but then you loose your warranty Although there is Trifecta which many claim cannot be detected...yet.

It can be. Trust me I've seen the fm bulletin for it. But it's worth it to get the cable and tune your car I'm doing 25lbs of boost and no problems at all 10k miles now.

They're still making the LNF though, they're putting it in the new Regal GS so it's not out of the question. Doesn't matter if they make the Cobalt or not, what matters is the engine since that is what they're upgrading

It is a variant of the LNF, and any stage kit for that car would not work on a cobalt because it will have a different engine bay and a different ECU.

We are on our own for power. I prefer custom tunes anyways. My car will blow the doors off of any gm stage 1 with the same mods.

That's for the low pressure version coming from Germany, and will be available soon, not the high pressure version coming from Oshawa, that hasn't been announced yet.

Keep in mind these are the same dumbasses(I know, not all) that can't figure out how to install the GMS1 in the first place.More complaints on that, than LNF's breaking from an aftermarket tune.
