anybody know size of turbo on the 08 ss/tc

i was just wondering do anybody know the size of the turbo on the 08 cobalt ss/tc and the trim size

i think its the same turbo on the mazdaspeed3

those turbos on mazdaspeed3 are not bad they got got spool up and you have the option to run a external wastegate which is highly good for a factory turbo

The BorgWarner (3K) K04-015 is designed for 1.8T motors.

ideal for: Audi A4 1.8T & VW B5 Passat 1.8T

dam thats a small turbo i had a gti 1.8t and that turbo was garbage so does that mean its on a t3/t4 flange because the vw was

o my dam that turbo is really small that turbo must run at super low boost i dont even think a turbo manifold header upgrade will make a difference in power or boost its looking like a 20g or a 30r will do the job thanks for the advice from everybody that helped me

max boost is 21psi, twin scroll case is why it can be so small.

Chevy wanted a turbo that made its engine generate a lot of low end torque and the K04 was perfect for the job. I think they made a great decision for getting the best of both worlds between an average driver and an aggressive one.

It-s a borg warner k04-59. It is larger than the speed 3 and is a lot larger than the vw. Not all k04s are the same. The only larger k-04 is the -62 but I don't know which car uses this.
