Autolights

The autolights in my 2010 SS drive me nuts

Id like to have the option in the early evening to just roll with my fogs on but no headlights

There is a Off option on the Signal Switch but the car seems to override me and put them back on anyways

Anyone have a solution to actually turn it off?

It puts the DRL's on I think. Try pulling the DRL fuse in the underhood box. Might be different than my 2008.

You can either use the off switch plus remove the DRL fuse, or you can turn the swtich to the parking light position and run both the parking lights and the fogs, which looks good imo.

If u don't want it to ever come on remove the pigtail from the ambient light sensor on the dash. Job done.

There is no auto lights fuse, just a daytime running light fuse.

On Canadian models you CANNOT disable the Autolights. You can pull the DRL fuse to disable the Drls but the Autolights still function. There is an option to install a relay and switch inline with the photo-sensor on the dash to trick the BCM into thinking its daytime out instead of dark.

It's illegal to run with just fog lights when conditions warrant lights in the first place in every single state in the union.
