Beat on a dead horse

My car is mostly stock

Mods list so far is simple.

-muffler delete (weight)
-spare tire delete (weight)
-subwoofer delete (weight)
-cat less dp (weight/hp increase)
-gms1

I trapped 107 this summer with god awful launches and terrible tires.

Curious what else could be done to make my car beat some camaro ss v8s (and maybe newer mustangs?)... Or basically I'd like to trap 110mph. Or maybe even more..

Would a hp tune get me there? I guess my question is basically.. How much hp or tq does it take to get a extra mph? Is there any ricer math or do I just need a drive mod?

Thanks

you could get better tires, you could also get a light weight race battery, finally you could strip down the whole interior of your car removing seat belt brackets and such.

Another simple trick is putting junior footballs in your rear coil springs and inflate them to 10-12psi.

The foot ***** plus better tires will probably net you the best performance increase.

This mod plus an HP tune gets you in the 12's.

Get drag radials. Put drag bags in the rear springs to reduce rear squat. Work on launching with the drag radials. Get a dyno tune.
