hey everyone! here in Newfoundland we have really bad gasi use only 91 octane and thats the highest octane rating in newfoundland. ive tried many diffrent stations but the out come is mostly the same theres times my car feels sluggish so i switch my rpd to knock retard and see up to 16 degrees of knock. yikes! anyways i see most of the knock from low to mid range throttle but when i go WOT it goes back to 0. also when i throw in a bottle of nos octane booster it keeps the knock down alot anywhere from 0 to 2. so im wondering if its ok to use the octane booster every fuel up of every 2nd one? also im on stock tune with a k&n intake i have the badmab dp on the way! when i get it im gonna get trifecta tune 22-23psi but im also afraid of this bad gas. any sugestions?

Honestly I wouldn't throw any octane booster in there but that's just me..

I would def. get a tune though cause it seems your car is outta wack, I'm sure the intake doesn't help without a tune either....

 

it also done it b4 the intake as well. a few other ss/tc around here noticed the same thing!

 

Do you have any husky stations around? They should carry 94oct (although the add methanol to it) but my car loves the stuff..

 

If it's been running kinda weird even before the intake then I'd def. get a tune and have the tuner whoever it may be check it out to make sure everything is running ok
