Does anyone think that the bend will effect the air flow over the mass air at all ?

 

Yes. Bend it back into shape.

 

yep i have had to bend idk probablly like 10 of these back into place for customer. thank god sometimes for a previous history in body work. i can usually work these back in decently.

the bend will effect the air flow without a doubt so get it as straight ass possible

 

Well I bent it back. But it was harder then I thought it would be. Which is really strange seeing as how easily it bent inward. I was not able to get it perfect by any means. But it deffinitly looks better then it did. Heres hoping it works okay.

 

Do what I do. Log it, send it to your tuner with a Mea Culpa and 50 bucks.

Im GMS1 only for a tune. I really dont wanna buy hp tuners to remote tune. No tuners around me at all. Also , Im happy with the gms1 and the kn sri for sound. Long story short , I can not log my car. :-(

 

I was kidding. Really. Term2 tunes my car. I was kidding with him.

Can't right now. It's broken. Got new parts today though, so we shall soon see new numbers.

 

What broke?

 

Roebling was hard on it. Had an inner fender well pull loose, a coupler got a cut in it, and a cam actuator started going bad. Just got everything in from CED and Treadstone so I can put it all back together. For a while though, the car was super fast.

 

over tighten, ive did it to my old one, not that bad tho
