Best Turbo Options for needs?

I found out my turbo is hitting the housing by a strange noise, (see other posts for pics and video when I get them up) but I figured while I replace turbo why not get a better one.

So I'm thinking k04+ but can't find any info on it. I want something that adds some HP but I don't want to or don't have the money to upgrade the clutch just yet. I know it adds 30 or so HP. Is this turbo worth my time. I could replace it with another stock turbo too? I'm undecided.

I'm looking for something that is reliable and I won't have to worry about axles, tranny, or any other issues caused by extra power but want a car that's faster than other Cobalts around. I understand you have to pay to play and cars break. So what is my best choice. I'm I saw GDUBS review and it seemed worth it but I need more info. Do I need a clutch or any other supporting mods? Things like that

a buddy of mine here, his name is Vahdyx on CSS, has the K04+. He's at 380 or so whp on 91 pump gas so its around 30-50 whp increase over normal k04. hopefully he can pipe in but it cost him around 1100 for it.

I went around and around with this question and decided I like the stock turbo just fine, for the way I drive and what I personally want out of the car.

yess^^ and if I'm not mistaken the k04+ just has a lighter wheel for faster spool and a little more power... and I think you have to send your Turbo in to them
