Bluetooth Problem
Bluetooth Problem
Anyone had experience any problems with their bluetooth in their cars? Just today I could not speak to anyone from my car because no one could hear me well. I will retry tomorrow to see if it was a signal issue. So anyone had this problem?
I've never had this problem, i use it all the time and everyone says the voice quality is good. If you sit straight up and your head is in front of the mic it might not be picking you up very well- just a thought.
Also - can you guys autoconnect to your BT? When I re-enter my car, I have to shut my BT off and turn it back on to get the car to connect to it... wassup with that? A $20 BT car kit can even do this!
I've noticed a part of it is where in the car you're sticking your phone. Part of the bad reception is how you're sitting in relation to the mic, but the other part is how clearly your phone and the car and talking to each other through bluetooth. If you're having issues, trying moving your phone around. I'm not sure where the bluetooth antenna is located, but I've noticed better reception on the passenger seat or near the back seat for some reason. Maybe the bluetooth and antenna are built in to the OnStar box itself, in which case the back seat makes sense, since that's where it's located.
