BOV's

So i had one and took it off due to problems that i thought it was causing but now im hearing that it may not have caused any issues at all. anyone running a BOV right now with no issues and if so how are you running it:

with block off plate
without block off plate

i have full bolt ons and a trifecta tune, i really only want to run a bov for the sound cus im being a noob right now i guess. but i digress i know someones gonna say you dont need it and i know this i just want it. so thanks for any and all info. and if you call me a douche rag thanks for that too

Yea just don't run it from BOV to intake manifold. If you install it just like stock an leave all the BPV solenoid on and everything you shouldn't have issues. I installed mine by removing the vacuum tank under the intake Mani, and removed that solenoid and had turbo surge bad with an HKS

You need to be tuned and with a maf relocation. The MAF will read metered air loss. This will throw you into a limp mode that only allows like 2psi or something. That what mine did before I relocated the MAF.

Here you go... I have it explained somewhere in there... how to hook up the BOV and use a block off plate

So you are running the BPV and the BOV then? Are you experiencing any surge or flutter from the turbo? Not having one valve that fully opens will cause both to partially open and can, not will, but it can lead to surge and/or flutter.

Hell I dunno, we couldn't get mine tuned with the BOV after the MAF sensor. So I moved the MAF and it works just fine with a tune. I might go back to original and get a forged but I'm not sure yet.
