i would deff try that or atleast have some one help you pin point it. They do get really anoying and 9 out of 10 times a little grease will solve the problem.
When my shoes have snow on them or they are just wet they squeak hardcore when pressing the clutch in particular, but it is just the water squeaking between the shoe and pedal surface in my case.
