Can you guys recommend me rear rotors for an '09 LNF?

I was checking them out on Auto Anything. They had a rear brakes kit (pair of rotors and pair of pads) for somewhere around $133+.
I was wondering if you guys had suggestions for another rotor set (new pads would be a plus but not necessary). I am on a bit of a budget, so I'm not looking to spend hundreds on new rotors, but I also don't want to cheap out on something meant to save me.

I'd go stock rotors and Hawk HPS pads.

I think you missed the parts where the OP said he was on a budget.

Thank you. This is the type of post I was looking for. The stock rotors are ugly, but right now I have to follow the cliche motto " beggars can't be choosers."

Just curious what you think about these? It seems like a deal that's possibly too good to be true, no?

Edit: Not sure if link I shared works because I am posting by phone. The deal is two rotors and set of brake pads for $87.

The best rotors for the LNF's are the stock rotors, front and rear, they just happen to also be pretty affordable as well.

original rear pads,

Amazon.com: ACDelco 171-0953 GM Original Equipment Rear Disc Brake Pad Kit: Automotive

By far the cheapest from all the crap posted on here. Go with stock. Lube up the setup and you should have no issues.

Thanks, everyone. I'll likely go with the stock pads and rotors.
This is why I love CSS.net. There is great info on every car-related message board, sure, but this one has the most helpful members.

If you scroll down on the page, there is a link to the rotors. About middle of page before product description. Rotors are only 36 a piece there. Not bad at all!

Stock rotors are already posted in this thread.

Stock pads, stock rotor links on Amazon are the cheapest.

Okay so I plan on getting fronts and rears done. I priced up the ACdelco replacements for pads and rotors and I get a total of $287.

The power stop kit is $317. Id say Powerstop is equivalent to R1Concepts.

Then on Rockauto for part# KOE5533, you can get OEM powerstop replacements for $176 (pads and rotors). Where I plan to get them.

That's a good find.

I live in Canada and can get them for 350$ shipped. Pretty good compared to 600$ that the stock rotors would cost me.

I don't know much about cars and just want to make sure that these will fit the Cobalt TC ?

Also what about the quality ? I know I can't expect amazing brakes for that price, but are they fine for a DD ?

And why would they be selling them so cheap ?

Damn, those AC Delco rear rotors on Amazon went from $36 each to $42 each in just a week. I should've bought them sooner.

I see. Well, looks like they had a deal or something a week or so ago. When the link was first posted, they were $36 for the rear rotors, $38 for the fronts. Now they're $42 for the rears. Still a great deal, I think.

You can always ask tom at CED if he can price match, but Amazon has a great price on the stockers. I'll be ordering the stockers all around shortly.

I cant speak on behalf of Powerstops quality but Im sure its good. I was looking at them before I went with R1Concepts before. Tirerack.com sells Powerstop so they must be decent. As for fitment, just go through rockauto's search tree to find the cobalt SS and the parts are exact replacements. I believe that Part# I posted is for the Cobalt SS LNF.

K5533 is there performance rotors and pad kit. The other ones are OEM replacements so they should be for Daily use I guess.

I assume you aren't buying slotted and drilled rotors.

As pretty as they are, for daily driving, the stock rotors are leaps and bound better.

For track driving they are even worse as they will crack much faster.

Love the look, but I can't justify the cost, especially when the stock ones work perfectly fine for a fraction of the cost.
