recently put on ottps catless downpipe, sounds great, east install, good price, fast ship, and no cel.........but..... where the downpipe bolts to the exhaust that large triangular flange is rubbing against the heat shield and is vibrating like a mother. it doesnt happen all the time but when it does man is it annoying. i got underneath it and banged on it a little and it happens less often now however it is still killing me. anybody have any suggestions. i honestly want to just cut that section out and replace it with something but with the catless it gets really hot, any help would be greatly appreciated

 

You should be able to bend it back far enough so it won't hit anything. And maybe check your mounts for any damage.

 

Take it off, send it back, tell them you want your money back.

 

I had the same problem with mine I just banged the heatshield a bit and now it doesn't rattle. This summer I'm going to be taking it to an exhaust shop and asking them to put a bit of heat on it from a torch and just pull it down 1/4" - 1/2" just to be safe.
