my fawkin beast of a stock clutch is finally started slippin today with 102k on it

i am giving competition clutch one last shot to do a clutch for us.................sigh................if not i will be ordering up a ky in the next few weeks.

 

We were on Comp Clutch for months, we got the, "yeah we will be working on it" for many months after; had another dealer call and they told him "we found there is not enough interest out there for us to make a kit"

That is when we gave up and got KY Clutch kits. Comp Clutch would never get to the value in price that the KY kits are.

 

Looks almost identical to my 20 psi trifecta tune with 93 octane

well for one thing they have been wanting to do it and still say that they want to do it.....two they are in my own backyard....three imo they have an excellent reputation and make excellent products.

my buddy who is friends with one of their marketing guys is gonna talk with him and see whats up. i am a good test car for them since i need a clutch now and i make more power than stock so can test it to some limits. i will be more than happy to get an e tune to help test its capacity and am planning a turbo upgrade here shortly anway so i need something that will hold a conservative 450ish on my weak stock internals lol

fwiw thier complete kit with tob/slave, pressure plate, disc, and lw flywheel was said to retail around 800ish which is not a bad deal at all for the whole setup

Why are you not fully tuned? I get that alot when I put the smack down on hondas amd DSM's and they always say I need tune, or tune not finished. Never really got why people have half ass tunes thats not finished. Good race btw

Lazaro had things to do and trifecta was causing issues so we uploaded my tune and I revised it for kr and fuel trims and boost. So its safe now and is conservative timing wise.
