Op decided to go back to the base file and race non stop on a untuned tune. And now has.some type of knocking sound . But only in boost as if like a blown turbo or spun bearing ...

OP, it was a bad idea from the start to go make a video of a tune unfinished and then race around on it before it could even be dialed in.

Most likely a spun bearing.

 

Now why would he do that? Go back to base tune and race?

 

He states the base file was quicker.. which is possible since the base file was lean due to it not beaing tuned in.... But I'm sure he learned his lesson.

Lol .. he's taking the car into the shop.. I dunno where he is lok.. but the truth is he changed file over file racing to see which one was faster .. lol he learned his lesson I'm ssure

only 18 first car! its a good lesson and its under warranty they're gonna fix it idk what it is yet, what can you expect most of you guy drove hondas and thier isnt much you can do to those care and here i am with i decently fast balt!

Yeah cavy. He already admitted his stupidness of doing it so theres no reason for more downtalking. He's a good guy, just didn't know ..

 

How far off was his base file? lol

 

From the e47 base he was 18% ltft but had kr midrange and was running a little lean in spots

 

It was only off that far due to the base file being made in a 30* temp. It's basically frogstofalls file but revisions made... It wasnt off 18% all the way through just random spots

 

OUCH....yeah KR in the midrange at WOT would def **** soemthing up. Thats what happens when you dont listen to your tuner haha

Good thing he learned from this and I really do hope that the dealer does take care of it.

OP you need to learn what knock sounds like cause I bet it was pinging like a **** at WOT. You just didnt know what to listen for.
