COMING BACK TO THE original thread some ppl got the ss/sc and they dont give a crap about racing ,stages or the new ss/tc they just think of they car as a nice 2 door coupe with decent power and xm radio handy.. i know sometime we all run to those ppl i did once at the dealer when i went to change the oil on my car this guy dint knew nothing at all lol... more recently this guy came to me and ask me if i want sell my ss/sc because he did like it ... i toll him about the ss/tc and he dint knew nothing about it!

I am starting to notice that the age group average is quite low here, ti does VERY HIGHLY show in all there posts. But the funny thing is all these SS/SC guys talk smack about their stage 2 cobalts being faster then the SS/TC.
**NEWS FLASH** The SS/TC is only stock as of right now. Wait till HPtuners comes thru with their programming to tune the SS/TC. Wait till people start modding their turbo's. There are better impellers you can put in your car for more air delivery, in return requiring better injectors for proper tuning. Or a bigger turbo, how about the exhaust and CAI that can still be added. How about a port and polish so the turbo spools out faster (please correct me if I'm wrong about any of my statement, I am still learning how a lot of this stuff works). You SS/SC guys talk all this **** about the turbalt, oh wait, is that jealousy I'm sensing? I think so.
But that is not the point. The point is we buy these cars so we can enjoy performance and fun all in one little cheap package. I bought the 2.4 but would love to get the Turbo cobalt. I have plans on the new camaro instead. But I'm not here harassing others that my (possible in the future) Camaro will "Have more horse power and be way faster running 11's and 12's" and that the cobalt is only a 13 and a half car. Is about enjoying your own car and other members cars, so enjoy this guys story and laugh at the douche bag claiming that its a down grade.

LOL i agree. but on the lighter side.. I will dominate any car on this thread with my na.. Really.. No kidding omgosh!! Man.. Its all about your car.. Making it your own and being happy w it. I give everyone on this site props for their rides but.. We all are cobalts except for a select few with rwd.. Lol

I own a 04 cobra with the stock eaton though ported by Stiegemeier, I'm making 500 whp. The Kenne Bell and Whipple supercharger guys would destroy me. Then you have the Hellion & HPP turbo guys who make even more power. The turbo is a more efficient power adder.

lol wow i dont know how this thread got out of hand like this considering the OP was right it is a upgraded car i mean its for the better...I honestly think that alot of the guys on this forum are just plain pissed off because they bought the wrong car and made a mistake of buyin the ss/sc because now they want the ss/tc... People get a damn clue, you bought the car you did when you did be happy with it if your not happy then **** go buy the ss/tc or another better performer simple as that we dont need to hear your bitching and complaining about petty **** like this....
Now to get to the real truth yes that owner of the ss/sc is a dumb ass an had no idea what the hell he was talking about... Right on 2fast . The TC is a step forward in the cobalt world. Jim's OP said nothing against anything but some uninformed SS/SC owner who looked down on his car. It just goes to show how "touchy" some people are about the TC .
If your unhappy with your SC get rid of it , don't hate on the new model . Personally i still smile everytime i turn the key in mine . I've been in this situation before , I bought a LT1 camaro then 2 years later they released the LS1 cars . It was a big **** storm back then too , and we all know how that one turned out . It's called progress, and some people just don't like it lol.

i just went back and read some posts. some of you guys are idiots. Im sorry for the people that wont let it go that sc isnt the fastest... you have been living a glass bubble guys. go onto the srt4 forums or any other forum. we arent the fastest... but just because you arent the fastest doesnt mean you cant love your car.

who cares which one is faster.. the turbo cobalt is faster from the factory though by not much. BIG WHOOP---- that aint even the best part of the car. I WANT THOSE DAMN BRAKES!!!!!!!!!!
just for the record......we all know ss/sc rated power at 205hp is crap cuz it puts out approx 200-220whp (dyno dependant!!!). that means it should be called having approx 240hp (assuming 12% drivetrain loss for fwd)
but who cares what its rated @.. i like saying that my car has 205hp stock. people who dont kno think im putting down approx 180whp bc they dont kno that its underrated.. to top it off im not even stock
concerning the turbo cobalts. i dont kno what they put down in terms of whp. i dont care. its a sweet F*in car in that it looks as if they made improvements where we needed them. o and did i mention I WANT THOSE BRAKES lol
