My stock rims have similar language, except 18 x 7.5. I would hesitate to use narrower wheels, and I suspect (I don't know) they may not clear the Brembos without spacers. I don't like spacers, either.
Pretty sure the SS/SC wheels don't fit........SS/NA and Redline wheels do, however (17")

SS SC Rims are my winter set up.
SS SC rims are 18X7 They do not clear with smaller than 5mm (some only need 3...) Depends on year of rim as some are actually Monte/Impala SS rims in late 07 due to production stopping on them The Impala/Monte rims are a Better fit if i recall But still require a 3mm.
SS NA rims are 17X7 These should fit without spacers (close but they work) some people have them rubbing and need 3MM spacers. It seems to be hit and miss but suspect it is the cobalt sport rims that dont clear...
COBALT SPORT Rims are 17X7 And i believe need a 3mm spacer to work (Look the same as SS NA but a reproduction and arent quite the same)
SS TC rims are 18X17.5 and clear NP (obviously)
ION RL rims are 17X7 and clear without spacers. Some run 3MM just to be safe as it is a close fit.
They require spacers. I tried 3mm and they touched. 5mm Clears (see my pics in my library) But its by prolly exactly 2mm lol.

I did read... I was still wondering why you wanted to put on ugly rims. You can still roll with the stockers during winter. They're not going to freeze lol.
