09ss rear brakes

Is there a tsb out on the rear brake issue with the slide pins not being lubed from the factory? My 09 is squealing loudly and the inside of the drivers side rear rotor feels lime it's starting to get grooves. Car only has 4500 miles on it, bumper to bumper expires today, and dealer acts like they never heard of an issue with these brakes. Of course the only time it doesn't make noisenis when I brought it to dealer yesterday. But normally squeals every time pressure is applied to brakes. Anyway was hoping there is a tsb on the brakes to show to dealer.

No. The only TSB out on brakes is that squealing is normal, so you're going to be better off smashing your head off a wall than you are talking to the dealer about it.

Mine were down to the metal on both inner pads with only 20000 miles on the vehicle. It damaged both rotors beyond resurfacing. The dealer I took it to did not cover it under warranty even though I showed them all the comlaints from the NHTSA. I replaced mine with R1 rotors and pads for $150.

I run LNF brakes no problem, but winter is hard on the brakes
in 08's I have seen pad material defeective, there were clumps of metallic particles in the pads, that grooved the rotors.
In service, I see worn rubber slider boots, and missing caps - service item, replace
stainless steel pins wear, not a deal breaker; but replace with new; loctite threads; torque in properly and lube with silicone brake lube. Put caps on rubber boots.

The pads seize in the metal guide bracket. Remove bracket, wire wheel it clean as can be, then re install (loctite on threads) and use antiseize on the brake pad ends.
To install new rear pads, lube the part that engages with the guides with anti seize.

Use a service tool to rotate the piston in while pressing down on the piston, ghetto needle nose pliers may not work for you.

Its all a service item but the 08's that I have seen got new rotors and pads, under warranty, and I have seen no issues other than this: if winter road salt and sand jams the pads in the guides, its over for pad life - the inner will wear 3 x more than the outer. Good luck
