Cobalt ss tc wheel size info

Hello, i searched on all the forums but cant find a definite answer. I just want to know if some Varrstoens (like everyone has) ES2 17x9 +30 will fit on my 08 cobalt tc. I read everywhere and some people say they used spacers some didnt, some had problems etc etc. I just want to know if they will clear brembos with or without 5mm spacer before i place an order in a few weeks when theyre back in stock. Thanks!

18"x7.5" with a 42mm offset.

factory tire size is 225/40/18.

The wheels your looking at are 9" with a 30mm offset. Id imagine theyd be sticking alittle out of the wheel well with out spacers. with 5mm I could see it jutting out further.

I have 18" x 8" with a 38mm offset. The wheel sits flush with the fender with the tread of the tire inside the fender. My wheel sits 10.35mm further out then the factory wheel. Those ES2's will sit 50mm further out then the factory wheels. Add a 5mm spacer and its 55mm further out = 1.96 inches. This sounds like youd need a stretched tire setup to keep the tread under the wheel well. Id advise against it but if thats what your looking for then maybe the fitment gods will shine in here and bestow you some tire knowledge.

Edit: rereading your post your asking if they fit over Brembos. I have no idea on that lol. but the tire thing with look goofy if you dont stretch the tires.
