Cobalt ss turbo engine light p0420

Hello I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have 3 codes one of them is p0420 which is cat effienency below threshold bank 1 and then when I scan for e test it says

Catalyst: not passed
oxygen sensor: not passed
oxygen sensor heater: not passed

also I am going through a lot of fuel... also my car stinks of fuel through the exhaust.

the car is tuned, I do have a catted downpipe and I drove the car fine for about a year but now it’s running really rich and I have those codes. Idk if I need to get a new catalyst plus new sensors. Or maybe I just need 1 sensor or something I’m not sure thanks!

i would start with the sensors first. you can tune the rear 02 sensor out if you dont want it but when one of those sensors goes bad, the cars will run like absolute **** and youll chug fuel. replace those first and then do a new dp if needed. start with the cheap stuff first

Thank you, yeah I ordered 2 sensors from gm, if I need a cat I’ll get a downpipe with one through zzp.

sounds like you need a new upstream O2 sensor
