I am pretty sure I know the answer to this but when its colder in the morning and go to start up my car the thing starts then dies. i go to try it a second time then im good to go. I have a zzp catless dp and gms1. i am Asuming that this is from the catwarm up cycle. if not feel free to inform me!

I haven't experienced my car stall during cold start in the 2 years i've owned it. Does it throw any codes ? when does it stall.... in the first couple of seconds or longer ?

 

on cold mornings, around 40 f or colder. stalls within a few seconds. 2nd ignition cycle a few seconds later perfectly fine. 50 degrees and above not a problem

 

did you happen to have filled your tank the evening before you shut your car off for the night?

 

I might have, Theres a little less than half a tank left as of now

 

I'm no expert on lnf's but it probably get's super rich at those temps?

 

if 1/2 tank is right around what you had left in the tank when your started the car this morning then the problem I was going to suggest is not the issue.

 

yea i am ******* clueless at the moment. only on a cold start when its cold. i am still leaning towards cat warm up but i have no idea how that would effect a cold start and tell then damn thing to shut off but start up a second later. i only dump 93 in it from the samadusei8njfaspduienjfa

cat warmup does run the car extremely rich but for the most part won't cause cold start issues unless your purge soleniod is hung up..

 

How many miles are on the car? Might be time to throw a set of new plugs at it and see if it helps. Or atleast check the gap on them and see where their at .... most run a .032 -0.30.

 

This could also be a fueling issue.

I can relate this to the problem people are having when running E85. Cold start ups require you to turn the key to "ON" to prime the pump (you'll hear it whine), then shut the car back off, then turn it back to "ON", prime again, then start.
