cracked intercooler

I bought an 09 tc today with a cracked plastic end piece I got him to knock off 500 from the price I'll jb weld it for a temp fix but my question is what do you recommend for a performance replacement intercooler since gm wants almost 700 for the stock one I've looked at hahn and forge but anyone's opinion would be appreciated

ZZP's is direct fit. but its a cheap chinese core product.

I have Treadstone TR10 and it cools good and looks awesome, but the same thing applies.

I would like to get MPX next time i think.

Zzp is awesome sauce. That's pretty good deal knocking off 500. Most intercoolers are not that much

these are some pics of the stock intercooler that's cracked pretty bad and the previous owner tried to fix it with silicone or hot glue or something that didn't hold i used plasti weld and so far it seems to be holding and now my power and gas mileage has improved dramatically

I tried fixing my Hahn it would last a bit but basically just slowed down the leak. I'd buy the increased clearance ZZP

If you can find someone with another cracked intercooler and buy it for really cheap, you can swap end tanks on the stock intercooler. I've done it before and it's really easy...

my zzp intercooler is on it's way the fix seems to be holding, that hole is a screw hole for a protective bar that's on the bottom of the IC i'm not sure what those little holes are for im guessing a water drain or something the bar fits over an o ring and screws down

THe bar is a condensation bar. It collects the blow by oil as it passes through the intercooler.
