hey guys well i hit a bump on the road and the guard of the intercooler got mess up and i running 10psi and i normally do 23 with my stage one no bolts yet i took my car to the dealer they didn't wanna warranty it and they said my intercooler was cracked but i lifted my car and everything looks fine my cp feels loose tho. Well getting to the point they wanted me to pay $500 for the stock intercooler so i told them no and i just order the synases intercooler 600hp for $500 shipped what i wanna know well that me me run different like in a bad way because i have 271whp and 310wtq and it a 600hp intercooler?

 

no, the 600hp intercooler will just make boost decrease slightly do to pressure drop with larger core

but definatly you will have a cooler IAT due to it

 

Don't buy the Genuine Saab (Crazy Steve) IC. I just sent mine back. It doesn't fit unless you grind on the crash bar, which I wasn't going to do. The stock unit is $412. Dejon and Synapse make fine intercoolers, apparently; they are similarly priced

Ya i order the synapse intercooler 600hp $500 shipped not bad i thought they told me i mite have to trim the bumper on the back for it to fit tho but to big don't mess up the performances right ?

 

Crap, I forgot about that bumper-trimming crap. There's no way I'm doing that. The Dejon is a direct bolt-on. I guess I'll go that way.

No. You might notice a drop in your boost readings, but power should be the same and more sustainable.

 

That not bad then i don't care really about boostin alot i just don't wanna loose performances because of it

 

Crazy steve's SUCKS do not buy that do a search for Crazy Steve here and you will see why . A lot of us with after market charge pipes and even factory ones do not fit , You will end up farther behind in the end plus the core is just way to huge for the stock Turbo , take our word the people who got it to fits seem to be the people with Dejon charge pipes for some odd reason ...
