will a 3 inch cutout ruin my car as in lifters and valves etc.?

Some people think they're just noisemakers on our cars; I've only opened mine at the track but it seemed to pull a little harder especially 5k and up. May have put a code in "history" but no cel.

 

I ended up sealing mine off. I noticed no performance difference. The sound was better at WOT, but at idle and anywhere in between it sounded like ass.

Electric cutout didnt help (I tried a cheap one but didnt bother with a good one) - it leaked too badly when closed.

well its not like i lost money i did the fabricating at my shop and had the cutout sitting around
