Yeah tell me about it. I guess most people in the Albany area go to Eagle Chevrolet or something. Its cheaper there. 150-200.

 

Went to Shellworth Chevy in Vacaville, CA they qouted me $360 i told him they were smoking crack! i said it takes two hours he said no its about 4 hours i laughed and walked out!

One of the service advisor thought it would take 4 hrs because they need to change the pulley as well? He thought it was a SS/SC.. I told him it should take no more than 2 hrs for the SS/TC and he eventually got it right after spoken to the mechanic - 2 hrs.

 

Has anyone out there had GMS1 kit install at Dealership in Coloardo? I saw that Century Chevrolet in Broomfield, CO was recommended but when I called them they wanted $289.00 just for install and said it may take up to 24 hours to have GM "call" the back with re-flash? Has anyone else had to leave their car overnite at dealership for re-flash issue?? $289.00 seems high for install?? Any help would be great.

 

I know that Jim Ellis Chevrolet in Atlanta, Georgia will install stage kits.

But I got mine installed at Maxie Price Chevrolet in Loganville, GA for 2 hrs labor at $90/hr. So $180.

 

I took mine to Norman Frede in Clear Lake, it has been a bit of a headache as it has been sitting there since Saturday morning at 8 am. I scheduled a week ahead of time but Saturday they told me they couldn't flash the ECU because GM Technical was closed so my car sits in there lifeless... sucks

 

Im the the proccess of installing one at my dealer ship: Hoselton Chevorlet in rochester, NY....currently screwed by gms programing system so i will have to reflash ECM first thing monday morning and it will be all set!

Criswell in Gaithersburg, MD: Lady on the phone quoted me something absurd, like 4-5 hours to install. I even made sure it was for the turbo... i laughed and hung up.

Jerry's Chevy in Leesburg, VA: Service manager said they don't modify cars from stock. Disappointed.

Sterling Chevy in Sterling, VA: These guys suck. I regrettably bought my car from these liars. Definition of a "stealership".

Pohanka Chevy in Chantilly, VA: These guys were great. Charged me $110 bucks out the door to do the flash. I installed the sensors myself at home then drove the car to the dealership. Highly recommended.

I work across the street from the dealership, and I work for the same dealer group, so I got employee rate. I can't share what that was . No issues, aside from a lose TMAP bolt a month later.

 

I was just quoted $650 for the kit and $212 (2 hours) for the install at Flemington Chevrolet in Flemington NJ. I responded back to see if they would let me get the kit myself and to make sure the install was the same price. Ill edit this once everything works out.

 

Delabruere Chevrolet GMC in Derby, Vermont just east of Newport. Charged 2 hours of labor @ 50$ per hour. Good service, works good so far with about 1000 km with the stage kit. They also sold me the stage kit. Total with taxes for me was roughly 700$ canadian dollars, which was an aswome deal for us canadians! Was well worth the drive to the US!

 

Van Horn Chevrolet in Plymouth, Wi I had no problems at all with them. I was their first so i had to explain it to them. I'm thinking they thought i had a SC. They charged me 264.60 for labor.
