Hey guys.
Haven't posted much on here but I thought I would pass along some great news. I was at Serra Chevrolet in Southfield MI to get the power steering recall and an Oil change. As I am waiting to pull in (First come first serve on Saturdays) I see a lowered SS TC on enkeis with carbon hood pull in. It just so happens that it he is a technician there. I obviously request that he do the work on my car. So I talk to the guy for a bit after about getting GMS1, I've been nervous to get some technician who has no idea. He tells me that he solders all the connections and has done quite a few of them. Needless to say I am having him do my stage 1!
So add Serra Chevrolet in Southfield MI to the list!

Hemphill GM, Summerside PEI. 2000kms so far with so issues, used pigtail connectors, was told when done properly, it's much more effective than soldering, I'm not an expert so I'm just going by what he said. The common mistake is mishandling them which results in glue leakage, they must be properly heated. I trusted the technican, he replaced the engine in my 2005 SS SC so I had ask specifically for him to do the install, name is Scott Bagnell, highly recommend.
Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, VA installed mine a few weeks ago, I know they've done at least 4 others so they are familiar with it. Price was a little high but no problems so far *knock on wood*
Hey sorry to bring an old topic up, I was wondering if anyone had an updated list of dealerships that install GMS1, I am in NYC area, if anyone has a dealer in the NY/NJ area that has done the install it would be much appreciated, also the quality of work too would be nice.
Thanks
Thanks
Chevy 112 in Medford, NY just quoted me at 344.95 plus tax for the install/reflash....that seems pretty high in my opinion......unfortunately my dealership in NYC wont do it because they dont do "performance upgrades" lol.....what a joke
I took mine to Norman Frede in Clear Lake, it has been a bit of a headache as it has been sitting there since Saturday morning at 8 am. I scheduled a week ahead of time but Saturday they told me they couldn't flash the ECU because GM Technical was closed so my car sits in there lifeless... sucks
