DEJON Upper Pressure Piping
Does anyone on here know if you can run the Dejon Upper Pressure Piping WITHOUT a BOV? I really like the look of their pipes over almost every other company, but really don't want to go to a BOV and have to tune for it, etc. If there's no way to get them without the flange, any other good looking pipes? Pics please? Also any input/opinions on Upper Pressure Piping, not just DEJON is appreciated!

I just got my Dejon upper charge pipe without BOV about a week and a half ago, I absolutely love it. I am getting better airflow and around 2K RPM you can hear it really kick in at such low RPM on normal driving. I am not boosting 21-22 PSI instead of 20 (GMS1) and the overall look of it is awesome in terms of paint matching the car I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. Also my BPV is a bit louder, not toooo much louder but it's there.

I personally don't have one but have seen them on many cobalts and never noticed/heard of hood clearance problems. Injen makes a nice looking on that goes across your engine and bolts to your intake mani I believe so if a coupling pops off you don't get a huge dent in your hood from the metal charge pipe. You really won't benefit anything from CP'ing on a stock tune or GMSTG1 so if your looking for something else to get I'd recommend getting a bad-mab catless dp, fitment is great and gives the exhaust a nice tone to it. Don't forget a angled defouler so you dont throw a cel.

Yeah I'm def. getting a catless downpipe! I just really want to get custom tuned and don't want to tune without having supporting mods! I know CP's don't really give much gain, which is why I like the way the DEJON looks, I figure if I'm not going to get much gain, might as well go for form and not function! And the INJEN looks nice considering it attaches to the Engine, but I really like the look of the DEJON. Need to upgrade the couplers for DEJON like you should with the INJEN?

Yeah I'm still in that debate Catless vs. Catted. Here in Ohio I don't think they'll ever know though, so IDK. I would like Catted just for a less chance of a CEL. I'm picky, but I HATE throwing a CEL.

Well if your going to get tuned eventually go catless -you won't regret it. As for the CP, I've heard to many horror stories about Dejon CP bursting off under high boost and making a fat dent in the hood even with the t-bolt clamps. Yes, do upgrade the couplers and clamps if your going to get the Dejon- highly recommended.
I've never had a problem with emissions down in Texas with my LS1. No cats or mufflers
What part of Texas are you from? I used to live in Katy and I'm moving back in two weeks!

When your friend installs it backwards yes I told him "ummm that don't look right" haha. He has a hahn charge pipe and just looked at the way his was and tried to match it up. I love mine. Plus the powdercoating just makes it extra special. Better than just black metal piping

I have dejon pipes but with a bov. You can still run a bov without a tune without any cels. If you have an hks bov running in parallel with the bpv it works perfectly. But go to dejons site. You can order the pipes without the bov flange.

You know the "official rally yellow etc " threads? Yeah , I talk to myself on that thread since so many cobalts are not CRMT
