Discoloration of dash?

Does anyone else notice any discolorations or blemishes on their dashboard or HVAC panels?

I know for a fact my HVAC panel was clean and just noticed this afternoon that there is a rather large spot above the vent position dial where it appears to be delaminating or blemishing. This isn't a big deal, and definitely not worth the hassle to take into the dealer - but I am curious if anyone else has noticed this and whether it was "normal".

What kind of Cobalt do you have?

My 09 SS/TC has less than 900 miles on the odometer. I factory ordered it and know for a fact it came from the factory with a pristine dashboard and HVAC panel. I have to park under the sun during the day at work, but I keep the sunroof shade closed and use a sun shade for the windshield. I can't see how the sun can damage the HVAC panel in under 6 months of ownership.
